Lily turned around to face him with a glare. "I'm already standing nimwit." She said evenly to the seventh year. "Besides, it's not fair to attack an unarmed girl."

"Maybe you should've thought of that before you decided to spy on us, Potter," Draco replied, savoring the moment.

Dorcas frowned. "Call me a coward, will you boy?" he demanded. "Rictusempra!"

"Protego!" Fenix yelled, deflecting the curse, which was poorly aimed anyway. "Let's see, torturing a fifteen-year-old boy, not to mention a child and his muggle mother? Yeah, I'd say that's pretty cowardly. Expelliarmus!"

Dorcas's wand leaped from his hand. He immediately transformed into a snake and lunged at Fenix's ankle.

Lily glared at the two Slytherins. "Really? Well I did have my wand, until the...snake!" She yelled, jumping back in fright. She hated snakes and was certain that snake had just been a man. "Ah!!!" She screamed trying to get away from it, it was heading to Fenix. "Uh...boy, move!" She called to him, not knowing his name.

"Impedimenta!" he yelled. "Thanks a lot," he added sarcastically. Move it, what a good idea, since there's a snake moving toward me like I'm lunch!

Lily looked from the snake to Fenix. "Well...sorry." She said, hating when people who barely knew her used sarcasm with her. She looked at the snake again. It's another one of those Death Eater guys, isn't it?

Dorcas cursed silently as his snake body slowed to a near-complete stop. Come on, Malfoy, help me out here!

"No... I like to watch..." he sat there comfortably. "Besides, you can take care of yourself well enough without my help." Lily and Fenix were in danger and he didn't have to lift a finger... very pleasing...

Luc rolled his eyes and pointed his wand at Fenix, sending a silent curse in his direction. "Watch Lily, Draco," he ordered as he moved to get a better shot at the Gryffindor 5th year.

"Okay," he replied, keeping his wand on Lily while watching the action. To be honest he wasn't really paying close attention to her, the battle was far more interesting.

Fenix flew across the room, hit the wall, and landed awkwardly on the floor behind Draco Sr. He climbed to his feet, rubbing his head, which hurt from the impact. Spying his wand, he reached down to get it just as another curse sailed over his head, barely missing both him and the headmaster and taking a chunk out of the wall. He realized he wouldn't be able to win this battle simply by disarming everyone. "Stupify!" he yelled, firing blindly from behind the headmaster's desk.

Lily glared at Lucius but surpressed a grin as he turned to Fenix. She knew she was unarmed but Draco wasn't as smart as his older brother, she knew that. Lily lunged forward, knocking into Draco and fighting him for the grasp on the wand. If only I can get this wand!! I can find mine! Snake! Gotta stay away from that!! She thought as she pushed Draco Jr. down, grasping for the wand. "Give it to me, Snake!" She gasped out, trying to yank it from his grasp.

Draco sputtered rather embarassingly as Lily tackled him from out of nowhere. "Luc! Help!" he yelled as he tried to keep her hands away from his wand, which was lying just a few feet away.
